Elemental Damage/Defense for Gem Stones

I was trying to create gem Stones for the gem sockets that add elemental damage (water, fire, etc) to an item for giving the Option to upgrade a sword to e.g. a watersword.
I can't seem to find an existing Option to do that. Maybe it could be added in the future?
