shieldPercent and shield mechanics do not apply absorption hearts on MM 5.5.2 Paper 1.20.2

Summary

Both - shield and - shieldPercent mechanics do not seem to be functioning.

Current behavior

Both mechanics do not give absorption hearts to players or entities on Paper 1.20.2 MM 5.5.2
