allay cancelevent does not cancel the event

CancelInteract:
  Skills:
  - CancelEvent
  - message{m="&cINTERACT"} @trigger

- cancelevent{sync=true} @self ~onInteract

these two methods did not work. is there a workaround or a planned solution?
